In 1907, when Joyva Founder Nathan Radutzky came to America from Kyiv, he brought his recipe for Halvah. Made from over 50% crushed sesame seeds called Tahini and a few simple ingredients, our Halvah is mixed by hand in traditional copper bowls into a smooth layered fudge-like texture.
